Why You Will Fail At Multi-Level Marketing
Multi-level marketing seems like something that’s not terribly hard.
You join and recruit others to join, and then when they make sales you can just collect your commissions. Unfortunately there is no such thing as an “easy” business. MLM, or multi-level marketing, can be complicated, and there is quite a bit to it. On the other hand, like any other business, if you’re willing to do what’s necessary to succeed, then you should do fine and be successful. It’s probably one of the more recognized internet businesses you can get involved in.

Ok – you should show your downline what needs to be done, but do not do it for them. You’re like the mother, after you show them you have to let them go so they can live in this business. If you do their jobs for them, they will never learn how to make money for you on their own. Your downline will follow your example if you lead and teach well. So if you deviate from that, and fail to do that, then you’ll become just any regular affiliate marketer doing some weird chicken dance. Teach them to survive because that’s what a good recruiter is supposed to do.
Don’t get trapped into the thought that you’ll make a killing in sales just because you handed out some product samples for free. You can look good in people’s eyes for this, but forget any guarantees about making a sale from it. Before handing out the free offers, think about that person before doing it. Go with the people who are leaning toward buying from you. And avoid giving it out too soon in the process, you’ll just lose it. You really have to pay attention to people, and you only really want those who are on the verge of saying, yes. You can manage your money and avoid handing them all out too fast.
Be available to the people you sponsor and recruit to be a part of your down line. It will adversely affect performance if you’re not around to answer questions and help. People won’t want to reward someone who’s not present. Of course just the opposite is true, and they’ll want to work hard. You can simply answer their questions via email or phone. If treated as it should be, it’s more than possible to make excellent money with multi-level marketing. There’s a mistaken belief held by many that you can make a lot of money very quickly. But sometimes it can seem that way. However, for the most part it’s completely legitimate.
It’s totally possible to be successful if you treat it like a genuine and real business and work hard to succeed.
